Q: How do you distinguish between a 4-wire and 5-wire touch panel?

Always check the tail arrangement. If there are 4 lines, it is a 4-wire touch panel. If there are 5 lines, it is a5-wire touch panel.

Q: Base on the LCD design, how do you chose a matching touch panel?

Basically, Liyitec can design and produce touch panel based on customer’s needs. Below is some design guidelines:

Frame Size: Normally the outside dimensions of touch panel should be the same or smaller than LCD’s outside dimensions.

Viewing Area: This area is transparent on the touch panel. Normally LCD’s active area is smaller than touch panel’s viewing area.

Active Area: In most cases, the touch panel’s active area is 0.3 mm larger than LCD’s active area.

Bezel size: Bezel’s open area should be at least 0.3 mm larger than active area.

Q: What is the range of operating and storage temperature of Liyitec’s touch panel?

The operating and storage temperature of Liyitec’s standard product is as follows:
4-Wire
Operating Temperature: 0°C~50°C
Storage Temperature: -20°C ~70°C

5-Wire
Operating Temperature: -10°C~60°C
Storage Temperature: -40°C ~75°C

If you have a unique requirement for a special application, we can design different specifications based on your demand.

Q: What is the difference between the standard product and custom design product?

The standard product is developed for mass-market demand. On the contrary, the custom design product is designed for single customer’s unique requirement. Customers pay the tooling fees for a custom design product, and other customers cannot buy this product.
